Oralert Saliva Drug Test

Oralert Saliva Drug Test is good for Amphetamines, Benzodiazepine, Cocaine, Marijuana, Methamphetamine and Opiates.

Detection in saliva tests begins immediately upon use:

• Amphetamine (AMP): for up to 72 hours after use
• Methamphetamine (mAMP) and Ecstasy (MDMA, “Crank,” “Ice”): From time of ingestion for 48 to 72 hours
• Cocaine (including crack)(COC): From time of ingestion for 48 to 72 hours
• Opiates(OPI): From time of ingestion for 48 to 72 hours
• Marijuana and Hashish (THC): 1 hour after ingestion, for up to 24 hours
• Phencyclidine (PCP): from 24 hours up to week
• Benzodiazepines (BZD): From time of ingestion for 48 to 72 hours

Modern technology allows for Oralert users sensitive detection of parent THC without the need for buffers. This drug test kit could identify parent THC at 100 ng/mL and THC-COOH at 12 ng/mL.

Detecting drug use with an oral (saliva) testing procedure is a clean and easy drug screening technique. Saliva drug test specimens are collected while the donor is under observation, which makes it harder for the donor to tamper with the results.

The main requirement for the successful saliva drug testing is the proper collection of oral fluid. Please follow the instruction very cautious, and be prepared for donors attempts to destroy the specimen collection procedure. For instance, some could refer that they have no any saliva. Really, dry mouth syndrome is relatively common and can be caused by the anxiety of the collection procedure, or even by lack of proper hydration of the individual.

How to use Oralert Saliva Drug Test?

1. Allow the OraLert 6 Oral Fluid Saliva Drug Test to come to room temperature (59-86°F) prior to testing.
2. Make sure, that there is nothing in the patient's mouth for at least 10-20 minutes. Remove the drug screen system out of the pouch, making sure that everything included, according to picture below.
3. Insert sponge end of collector into mouth. Actively swab the inside of the mouth and tongue with sponge. As soon as sponge softens slightly, gently press the sponge between the tongue and teeth to ensure complete saturation. The sponge is saturated when no hard spots can be detected. Collect for a total of 3 minutes before removing sponge.
4. Insert collector into device so that notches on the collector are aligned with the tracks on the inside of the collection chamber. Push collector into the chamber. Turn collector clockwise to lock into chamber. Wait 1 minute.
5. Rotate collection chamber 90° counterclockwize.
6. Wait 9 minutes and read results.
